I work in an abundance of materials to create different bodies of work. For my oil paintings, I am drawn to abstract expressionistic portraiture. I use color and palette knives to portray emotions and connections. I also participate in sculpture making that usually carries a figure based theme. I am also a potter; craft is a skill that has helped me connect 2D and 3D ideas, and has furthered all sections of my art.
